Hose threads and pipe threads have different thread patterns. Hose-to-pipe fittings are a convenient way to connect them. Typical usage scenarios might include connecting a hose to an irrigation system or an irrigation component to the end of a hose. Their durable brass or plastic construction ensures years of reliable use. Use pipe thread tape on all male pipe threads (MPT) to ensure leak-free connections. Recommended operating pressure is 30 psi. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.
